RGB Schemes | January 1, 2020 | News
With 2019 down, we’re entering into a new decade of technology. 2020 promises to contain some exciting new developments for both virtual reality and augmented reality, and we here at RGB Schemes are working to be at the forefront of it all. Last year we focused on pushing the boundaries of virtual reality haptics with RGB Haptics, and your feedback on the product has been spectacular! We’re working on our next update with plans to release it within the next few days, and can’t wait to share some exciting new developments with it in the coming months!
Going into 2020, we’ve got multiple new projects underway. Project Chimaera is our current core project, and we’re going to have an exciting time showing some of the upcoming features for this game. We’re still not quite ready to show everything yet, but we’re getting closer, and we hope you’ll bear with us until it’s ready. To that end, we’ve recently created a mailing list over on on our contact page that you can sign up for updates at. This will ensure you’re the first to hear about the exciting information we have for this new title (as well as all of our other projects). We really can’t wait to share more details later this year.
Finally, we want to work more with the virtual and augmented reality communities to help share the things we’ve learned during our developments of prototypes. We plan to try and post regular blog posts about some of these experiements (we have a small backlog of them built up now) over the coming months, and are planning to do some talks about them at various events both locally in Seattle and abroad. If you’re interested in having us speak at an event, feel free to reach out via our contact page (we promise, that goes straight to our inbox)!
2020 promises some exciting new developments. We have a lot more that we are rapidly working on, and we really can’t wait to share more of our projects with you in the near future. In the meantime, stop by our Discord server and chat with us there!! As we work on our new projects, we’ll be hanging out there listening to music and chatting with others, and we’d love to have you there too!
